Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund are reportedly seeking a fee minimum of 150 million euros for its Norwegian forward Erling Haaland in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to German newspaper BILD.
The report also includes that six clubs interacted either the player’s environment and entourage, or club Dortmund directly asking about the 20-year-old’s status. However, it is clarified that there is yet to be any formal offer placed on the table.
Haaland undoubtedly is one of the most in-demand players in the world of football currently, after arriving from Red Bull Salzburg, has scored 47 goals and 11 assists in just 48 games with Dortmund, no wonder major European clubs are keen on signing him.
Among the six clubs, EPL side Manchester City are believed to be one, after a report from the Mail recently suggested that officials from the Etihad had sparked ‘initial contacts’ with Haaland’s representatives. The same report also claimed that City leads the race over Chelsea and Real Madrid to acquire the player.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said that finishing in the top four of the Bundesliga is what they aim right now in order to keep Erling Haaland.
Zorc said that Dortmund will “try to keep him (Haaland) as long as possible for sporting reasons”, with qualifying for next season’s Champions League an important part of that.
“I have never seen someone like him,” Zorc said of Haaland. “We can search Europe-wide. If he ever left us somewhere, there would only be a handful of clubs, but we’ll try to keep him as long as possible for sporting reasons.
“We don’t want to play in the Europa League on Thursdays. We want to give our calling card in the Champions League.”
Dortmund currently at the fifth spot in the Bundesliga table, just two points behind Eintracht Frankfurt who occupy Germany’s final Champions League place.
